I’ve always enjoyed coming up with funny or clever stories, and have learned more about the science and art of good writing over the years. In college, I took creative writing classes and completed an internship at Willow Springs literary magazine while completing my masters degree in communication.
But most of what I have learned has been self-directed. I really enjoy the Writing Excuses podcast, and have picked up many tips there. I’ve read many, many books on writing from famous authors, but just reading in general is important. Much of what I have learned is through the actual practice of writing, with my largest project to date being the novel GamerWorld.
